Summary: The process of literary creation and narrative can be fruitful to geography studies. Fruitful because assessing a literary work as a cultural artifact agencies a production process of minor narratives inside the greater discourse, as well as presents an allegoric possibility to think the geographic categories through poetic experimentations, encompassing diversified ways to understand the world. This thesis problematizes how unique spatial imaginations about places are produced. When a given image/story is repeated, it contributes to a thought automatization, reverberating into associations that are unpromising to the spatial imagination process and reinforcing a privileged narrative form. To question the idea of unique place narrative, beyond elapsing the critic to the idealism forms and hegemonic discourses as absolute truths, conceive the provocation of thinking the place as the product of coexisting trajectories; the multiplicity of relations; and heterogeneous narratives of the world. Bolstered in the works of Jacques Rancière and Eduardo Pellejero, concepts such as distribution of the sensible and world fable compose the intention regarding the deterritorialization of the normative thought on the narrative about places. In the light of the theoretical input of Doreen Massey, in which the place is composed by a collection of stories folded into a space articulated by miscellaneous power relations, it is relevant to point out that these relations are mediated by a visual education of the world WHEREby the image is turned into landscape in order to name the world as if it was the real world. In the wake of a movement that questions universalizing claims and proposes to think alternative paths from the spatial thought for the studies of place narratives, we chose Uma Viagem à Índia, by Gonçalo M. Tavares, to appropriate the experience as narrative potency about place visibility and readability. We took Blooms travel route, the main character of the plot, to cross the place constituting it, at the same time, as a version of a story (narrative), as an image (landscape) and as a state of soul (experience). To find a writing that approaches, in Jorge Larrosa's terms, an opening in which landscape and experience coexist in becoming narrative to the fabulation of place.
