Summary: The increasing demand upon the hydric resources has contributing to the rising of conflicts among a variety of water users. The growing of global population, mechanical agriculture, industrial production, mining, connected to economic activities bring, in general, risks to the water supply. In face of these issues, the management of hydric resources becomes an option of mediation of conflicts relating the use of water. The Hydric Resources National and State Politian, created by the Federal Law number 9.433/1997 and the State Law number 10.179/2014, constitute the grant, the right of using the hydric resources as ones of practice of managing tools for ensure the qualitative and quantitative aspects related to the use, offering and availability of hydric regime. The authorization of grant is according hydric availability, since provides the maximum permissible limit to the grant, for a determined period the use of the water resource. Thus, the present research has as an objective the engaged geographic analyses of water use in the hydric bay of São Domingos River, located in the County of Pinheiros, in the State of Espírito Santo, analyzing in detail the grant processes, checking the relations among offers and demand. Taking as methodological procedure the use of geo-technologies of satellite images, system geographical information- SIG and global position system-GPS, with the purpose to identify the useful areas and to cover the land points WHERE the principal conflict areas among the water users can be identified. The results show that the predominant use of water is to irrigation as presented by number of grant formulated by AGERH. Also, was observed that the high demand for hydric resources is for continued irrigation, hydric reserve and animal watering. Yet, was observed that the sum of flow of capitation of superficial water is superior compared to a flow of reference Q90, verifying a more increased demand related to hydric offer. In conclusion, is remarkable the great importance of managing the hydric bay related to irrigation use, since this proposal is very significant, due a concentration of the use of a central pivot in the region that can affect the hydric offer of the source.
